One day I would like to be a nurse, work in a hospital, and help people - knowing that I will make their stay as pleasant as possible while they are under my care.
After experiencing what happened to me and undergoing my process of returning home and getting back to my life, it was very difficult for me to dream again and set goals. I slowly learned to get up on my own after so many disappointments. I was motivated to continue with my life and get up again with each new day. It was very difficult to return to school, but I thank God I am starting a new opportunity.
The truth is, I have come a long way and that gives me a lot of happiness and peace in my soul. I always keep my goals in mind. I give thanks to the Reintegra foundation for this great opportunity and for their support. I am very grateful to the foundation since I am getting closer to fulfilling and achieving my dreams. I can now see myself as a great nurse.
Since I was a child, I always paid a lot of attention to caring for and helping others, that's why I told myself and promised myself that I was going to be a nurse. Now, I'm living it. A nursing degree is something that I chose because it captures my attention. I am fancinated how intimate the human body is, and how our organs and our immune system work.
One day, I want to be able to work in a hospital and help people, knowing that I will make their stay as pleasant as possible while they are under my care. Also, to know that under my care, they will have an improvement in their health, and that patients will feel happy knowing that they were able to overcome or that they were able to find improvement after any adversity.
